A27-year-old from the Central Division who wished to remain anonymous yesterday walked away with the $100,000 cash jackpot in Vodafone Fiji’s Vodafone Pick 6 Lottery. The winner had participated in the previous Pick 6 lottery and had shared the prize money worth $30,000.

“I had this feeling that I was going to win the first prize cash jackpot which motivated me to continue playing,” the winner said. “This is a life changing moment which was a gift from God. “I’m the bread winner for the family after my father passed away and it was such an awesome feeling to know I have $100,000 in hand. “I thank Vodafone for making it so easy to participate in such an amazing and genuine promotion.” The winner said mobile phones had the power to change lives and the win was a perfect example of the power of mobile phones in people’s lives.

Vodafone chief marketing officer Rajnesh Prasad said the company offered genuine products and promotion with a realistic chance of winning. He said the winner was the first to clinch the $100,000 prizemoney since its inception two years ago. Mr Prasad said the winner sent in 72 entries worth $108 with six different number combinations. “We ensure to genuinely reward our customers and have unique propositions and promotions for them,” he said.

“It was the only mobile lottery in the country and Vodafone has gained a lot of loyalties from customer as they are taking advantage of our promotion.”
