The ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards Board of Trustees is extending the deadline for applications to November 07, 2016. “With Cyclone Winston affecting so many members and giving us a challenging start to 2016, the Trustees wish to encourage more entries to make the 2016 Excellence in Tourism Awards the best ever,” said the Board of Trustees chairman James Sowane.

“This will give our industry the recognition it deserves, therefore the closing date for entries has been extended to Monday 7th November.” The FETA Trustees also wish to confirm that for the individual awards, organisations and others may nominate more than one person for recognition in the three Individual Award categories – Fiji Pride Champion, Emerging Tourism Leader and Tourism Leader.

The extension also offers the opportunity to those that have sent in their applications to update their submissions if they wish. “There has been much interest received from industry operators to participate in the Awards, and we are pleased that the Trustees have agreed to offer an extension given the disruptive start ,” said FETA trustee and organising committee member Olivia Mavoa.

Award finalists will enjoy invaluable publicity, post-award PR exposure and awardwinning badges of excellence to use across company marketing materials.
