Instacharge App availability still being liaised, says partner Patel
Instacharge App will be available to customers once telecom networks approves it. This was confirmed by the app’s global partner Gaurangbhai Patel.
Mr Patel is still in the process of liaising with networks providers Vodafone and Digicel for their feedback on the use of this product. “We had a brand launch of the Instacharge app, the pre product will be available once the Telco network providers like Digicel, Vodafone come on board and approve it,” Mr Patel said.
“We are still liaising with them and we cannot disclose this information as we have signed some agreements. “We are in the process of doing test running and working on the technical side.” He added this technology was something new to Fiji.
“We are in fact behind in technology, so I was trying to introduce this to Fiji,” he said. Mr Patel also raised concerns of people posting on social media that the app was fake. “With the negative feedbacks coming our way, we are not going to waste time focusing on it but we will work positively,” Mr Patel said.
“People should understand this is not an overnight job, it will take time as we have other formalities pending.”
He also said: “People have their own political agenda and some have personal agenda. “People have taken this wrongly. We did not say we were trying to create energy in phone.” He said people were attacking the launch too personally instead of professionally. “We are also working with manufacturers worldwide and we have already 6-7 deals worldwide with international mobile manufacturers.” Mr Patel added: “This is not the first app we are working on but we have other projects next year which will be revealed later.”
Instacharge global app office is now open in Raojibhai Patel Street in Suva.
