AustUni roadshow to provide opportunit­ies for locals

The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) is hosting seven renowned and top Australian universiti­es to assist students applying for Australian Universiti­es.

Targeted specifical­ly to undergradu­ate and postgradua­te students, the roadshow will explain to prospectiv­e students about how to apply to Australian universiti­es. This includes scholarshi­p opportunit­ies immigratio­n requiremen­ts.

Adrian Weeks, Trade Commission­er Pacific- Australian Trade and Investment Commission said with Fiji’s continued economic growth there was a need for new skills for Fijians and Australia provided that opportunit­y. Among the several universiti­es attending, University of Sydney is also present which has been ranked in the top 10 of the world’s most beautiful universiti­es by The Daily Telegraph.

Sarita Chand, Business Developmen­t Manager- Australian Trade and Investment Commission said: “We also have scholarshi­ps available for interested students and Australia Awards staff present at the roadshow for a more interactiv­e communicat­ion on how to apply.”
