THERE ARE LESSONS TO LEARN FROM SINGAPORE

G.Baber...First of all,Congrats.. Hong Kong was your winning combinations, Why change during the Quaters in Singapore buddy? Enough of your experimenting thingy,Pls stick to the winning combination & experience players!! 3 mistakes been done upfront, defense was shocking, Kick offs !!!! Oilei juraga!!yu still not making changes?? Wake up!!! Look like you still don’t know your players well..Do your homework and know your pool of players & their capabilities.. While talking to players during halftime, I don’t like your tone, facial and the pressure you bring...Pls..you yourself should come down first, then the players will settle down...Your role is to take that pressure off the players, not adding to it!! Interchange of players must be review & placed specifically to their role.

Talk about transition...at what cost?! There is a time and place to bring in New players but in an elimination quarterfinal?! Hard lessons indeed for our new boys and the momentum from HK was lost in that game!!

Apart from our failure in the areas of ball retention, miss tackles and Baber’s selection blunder of omitting Ice from starting, one crucial element that’s been contributing to our loses throughout the series is the ethnocentric subconscious bias imposed against us especially from the Australian and Kiwi referees. If you guys noticed during the quarters against the USA, how balantly obvious the US captain constantly try and influence the ref by reminding him to keep an eye on the Fiji team. Baber like Ben Ryan should addressed this issue with the governing body because its becoming a problem, starting with the Sydney sevens (Aussie ref).

10% on field 90% off the field. We shouldn’t draw our conclusion in the quarters. My assumption is that the boy’s lost a bit of focus after winning in Hong kong, maybe the coach as well who knows. He must have underestimated the U.S.
