The exhibition is jointly sponsored by China Cultural Centre, Beijing Municipal Institute of Culture and History Research, and Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

They will make traditional Chinese paintings at the exhibition site on the opening ceremony and demonstrate their painting skills. After the opening ceremony, they will have a workshop with the local artists.

Traditional Chinese painting is a unique painting form originated in China with a long history. There are different types of traditional Chinese paintings, mainly painted on the paper or textile, with brush pen and ink or color. Usually, on the paintings, the painter also can write a poem with Chinese calligraphy, and put on a unique seal of the painter.

This is the first time for China Cultural Centre to exhibit the traditional Chinese paintings, and the exhibition time is only two days, from April 19 to 20. Source: China Cultural Centre
