You should invest 10 million on ginger, Dalo n other high demand high price crops for export mate . After 8 years this is the best you could come up with to move the country forward.

Like all politicians, they will seem to care as the electiion looms.This subsidy has come too late for our farmers. The issue of cost of living will never be justified by any subsidies given now. People are too intelligebt to fall for any exercise called " vote buying". For many in government their use by date is up. God bless our nation.

With that much money farmers must invest in the cane harvester I am guessing harvest is the hardest task with the support of the government

A subsidy .... financial aid or support to the economy!!! So in fact did they earn these moneys or is this an attempt to prop up the farmers with an injection of funds to aid in the new crop!! A very generous undertaking by Govt which could be misinterpreted by many!!
