Suva Netball vice-president Gabrieli Qoro aims to select potential players from their weekly rounds of club competition to represent their district. “The weekly competition focus mainly on the development of the sport at all levels which is from junior to senior grade,” Qoro said. “During last week’s competition most of the club members were not available for the competitions so we had only a few club games played. Clubs that took part continued to perform to their best and our selectors have been identifying talents that we can consider to be part of our Suva team this year.

“I feel this weekly round of competitions is a great platform for potential players to showcase their skills and have the opportunity to get into the district and national side as well.”

Qoro said they had new teams joining them last week and this Saturday is the cut off date for teams to register to be part of their weekly club games.
