Ravoravo Rabbitohs are adamant of another positive result as they take on Lautoka Crushers in the elimination round of the Vodafone Cup Nadi/ Lautoka Zone competition on Saturday.

The elimination rounds will be played at the AFL grounds in Nadi. Rabbitohs had defeated Nadi Eels 18-12 in the Nadi Aviators final last Saturday and are now optimistic of another win. Rabbitohs manager Sitiveni Vuniyaya said yesterday their players are injury free and ready for Saturday’s battle.

“For the first three days of this week the boys had their recovery session, we are really impressed with the bonding between the players,” he said.

“We’ll take one game at a time and treat all our games as the final.

The elimination rounds will be played at the AFL grounds in Nadi.

We need to keep up with the momentum from where we left off last Saturday.

“We don’t have major injuries. We believe in these boys and we’re optimistic they will produce positive results.”

Bolstering the squad is the presence of former Vodafone Fiji Bati forward Tikiko Noke, current Fiji Residents Livai Naivogo, former Fiji Residents reps Josateki Sovau, Jone Sariri and Semi Wainiqolo. “We believe we are on the right track in our preparations and we can deliver the goods come Saturday,” he added.
