GROUP CALLS FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE
DIVA for Equality climate activists in Fiji are part of a national regional and global efforts to amplify on the impacts of climate change, globalisation and capitalism on vulnerable and grassroot communities, our planet and all its living species. DIVA for Equality Management Collective Members as Pacific women living in frontline communities affected by climate change state their support for relevant stakeholders partnership towards the achievement of climate justice.
They strongly call against fossil fuel extraction in the Pacific and collectively call on just transition and transformative actions towards a sustainable future.
They will be part of the Pacific Climate Activist Standing March of Hope vigil that will be held at Albert Park on July 3 from 6am9am.
DIVA for Equality Management Collective Members publicly responds, as Pacific women living in frontline communities affected by climate change.
Over coming weeks, months and years through various campaigns, DIVA for Equality and allies will share more direct calls, views, strategies from Fiji and the Pacific, continuing the long struggle for social, economic, ecological and climate justice.
