We are in Skytrax Top 10 at World Airline Awards

-

On the back of being ranked 75th in the Top 100 Airlines in the World, Fiji Airways has also been listed 7th in the World’s Most Improved Airline category by Skytrax at the World Airline Awards.

According to Skytrax, the World’s Most Improved Airline award reflects an airline’s Quality improvement across the entire Airline Awards programme.

This analyses an airline’s change within the global rating, and their performance improvements in many of the award categories including airport service, cabin staff, catering, in-flight entertainment to identify the most improved over the last 12 months.

Fiji Airways Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs Shaenaz Voss said the entire team has been hard at work to implement changes.

At the end, the changes significantly contribute to an enhanced customer experience for their guests, she said. “Some of these changes includes our signature meals and beverages, inflight entertainment options, an award-winning inflight magazine, a service culture transformation programme for all staff, and a brand new modern lounge which will be opened this year. “We’re paying greater attention to what our customers experience, and investing in that experience. Our aim is to become a 4-star Skytrax rated airline by the end of 2017, and we have a team especially tasked to make this happen, who will work collaboratively with all departments across the organisation.

“I think we’re well on our way if we maintain this healthy momentum.”

Previous winners of this prestigious award include Thai Airways, Air France, Garuda Indonesia, China Southern Airlines and Hong Kong Airlines.
