Management Update for South Sea Cruises Team

South Sea Cruises Fiji Ltd has announced new appointmen­ts to its global sales and customer service teams. These are across its family of brands including South Sea Cruises, Blue Lagoon Cruises, Yasawa Islands Holidays, Awesome Adventures Fiji, Vinaka Fiji and the newest venture, Malamala Beach Club which is due to open over the coming weeks.

Loretta St Julian-Ooms has been appointed to the role of Business Developmen­t Manager - Fiji and is responsibl­e for South Sea Cruises, Blue Lagoon Cruises, Awesome Adventures Fiji, Yasawa Islands Holidays and the Malamala Beach Club in the Fijian market. Well known to many in the Fiji travel trade, Loretta comes with over fifteen years’ experience in the tourism industry and most recently as Director of Sales for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Denarau complex. Loretta will join the South Sea Cruises team on 11 September 2017, based in the Port Denarau, Fiji office and looks forward to working closely with customers.

Lailanie Burnes has been appointed a newly created role of General Manager - Customer Service & Experience responsibl­e for the global reservatio­ns teams, Cruise Centre support and customer journey at Port Denarau. Lailanie has been in the business since 2013 and has a wealth of knowledge on the business product portfolio and will transition into this role from 01 August 2017. With this role, Lailanie moves into the Executive Team reporting directly to the CEO.

Alyssa Field, currently Business Developmen­t

Manager for

New Zealand

& North America has been appointed to an expanded role to now include Australia effective from 01 September

2017. Many in the Australian travel trade know Alyssa from her previous role in the global contractin­g team at Helloworld Limited. Based in the Auckland, New Zealand office, Alyssa will also be leading the Australia sales team of Madeline (Maddy) Carse in Melbourne and Angelika (Geli) Reichling in Sydney.
