HOTEC aims for more
HOTEC 2017 aims to offer a more interactive range of programmes. The Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association’s (FHTA) annual industry trade show – “HOTEC 2017” takes place again this year on November 16 and 17.
The event will held at the Denarau Island Convention Centre (DICC), Sheraton Fiji Resort on Denarau.
FHTA’s chief executive officer Fantasha Lockington advises that along with exhibitor booths, this year’s HOTEC aims to offer a more interactive range of programmes for industry participants to watch and learn from.
HOTEC is organised so that suppliers can showcase and demonstrate their latest products and services, meet with industry partners and customers, study activities of rivals, and examine recent market trends and opportunities. By providing an enabling environment, FHTA hopes to generate stakeholder interest, promote awareness, create networking and business opportunities and ensure tourism products and services continue to develop and strengthen in the industry that involves people from across all segments.
A range of exhibitors who work in the industry will be represented this year with the addition of several new programmes being introduced to boost tourism education and showcase trade skills and new trends – all in one place. There will be something on display or going on for everyone in the industry – IT, culinary skills, furniture and furnishings, gardens and outdoors, HR discussions, coffee and chocolate tutorials, cocktails and mocktails, uniform designs, water recycling, solar trends, cleaning products, security options, dive updates, wine displays and all sorts of food tasting to name a few.
The HOTEC Tradeshow presents a range of invaluable opportunities whether you will be exhibiting to showcase new or improved products and services or attending to see how else you can improve your business.
And because there are a few things happening on Denarau during this week, interested members of the industry have the opportunity to catch up, network and learn new things all in the same area.
