Aamir Khan’s Diwali 2017 Release Is The Best Film This Year: Review
Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim-starrer Secret Superstar released on Diwali 2017 and has received heartwarming and positive reviews from celebrities. It’s like every single time there is an Aamir Khan film round the corner, people cannot keep calm. And why not. After all, it is not every day that we see Aamir Khan gracing the theatres with his presence.
So his Diwali release this year, Secret Superstar, sees him taking the second lead behind his Dangal daughter Zaira Wasim. The film hits the screens on October 19, and has made Bollywood go gaga over it. The screenings of Secret Superstar over the last two days have seen the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance. Once out of Secret Superstar, celebrities were unanimous in their praise for the Advait Chandan-directed film.
From Rekha to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, B-Towners who have watched Secret Superstar, have all joined in singing praises for Aamir Khan and his choice of an unusual subject.

Secret Superstar deals with the story of a young Muslim girl trying to chase her dreams of becoming a singer. But in her way of realising her goal, lies the obstacle called her father.
With support from her mother and mentor Shakti Kumaarr, played by Aamir Khan, teenager Insiya sets out to conquer the world with her music, albeit from behind a veil.
Aamir hosted a screening of Secret Superstar for veteran BJP leader LK Advani a few days ago, and a standing ovation followed. Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim will be seen together on screen after 2016’s Dangal.
