The 10th Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s tournament will be held on November 29December 2 in Taveuni.
The tournament was launched yesterday at the Paradise Beverages (Fiji) Limited headquarters in Walu Bay, Suva. Twenty teams will compete for the $10,000 prize-money.
“We are massively proud to assist as we are the region’s leading beverage manufacturer,” Paradise Beverages Group public affairs manager Nicki Drinkwater said. “We are really proud of the contribution that the company has been doing for the region and the community over the years.

“It’s not only about developing rugby in the rural areas but a way for us of giving back to the community.
“And with the Wairiki 7s, we provide students of Taveuni a chance of getting scholarships.
“This sponsorship has been going on for the last 15 years. Furthermore the First Light Taveuni 7s team is one of the top teams in the country.”
