RAINIMA TO SING ORIGINAL DEDICATED TO GRANDMA WHO SURVIVED CANCER
Contestants would be touring parts of Asia. Yesterday was talent auditions
For her talent at the prestigious Miss World 2017 in Sanya, China next month, our Miss World Fiji Nanise Rainima will be playing the piano and singing an original. Ms Rainima posted this on the Miss World Fiji Facebook page on Friday. While having breakfast with the ‘beautiful Miss Colombia - Maria Daza at our official hotel in Guangzhou, China’, she took a quick snap and description of her schedule.
“I am looking forward to auditioning for my talent this week where I will be playing the piano and singing an original song I wrote about my grandmother who survived Cancer! God is good!”
She lived a cancer-free life years later until she passed away.
In an earlier post she wrote: “Yadra vinaka Fiji! Just heading to breakfast. “Last night, I was joined by Miss Malta, Miss Netherlands and Miss Romania. Today, 100 more contestants arrive!
“I am looking forward to meeting all the girls! Please continue to keep me in your prayers and I am very grateful for all your continuous support! Vinaka Viti!”
Miss World Fiji director Andhy Blake said Ms Rainima was the first to arrive at the venue. This is also being marked down by the organisers. There are more than 120 contestants from around the globe.
He said as part of the contest they would be touring other parts of Asia. Yesterday was their auditioning for talents.
The national, talent and crowning gowns are designed by local designer Hupfeld Hoerder.
The contest began on October 20 and will continue until the crowning on November 18 in Sanya, China.
