WOWS GETS $22,000
THE MONEY WAS RAISED DURING THE FIJI DAY CELEBRATION BALL IN SYDNEY RECENTLY
WOWS (Walk On Walk Strong) Kids Fiji is $22,000 richer after it received a cheque from Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at the PM’s office in Suva yesterday.

WOWS Kids Fiji team leader Viola Lesi says they cannot thank Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama enough.
She made the remarks after receiving a cheque of $22,000 from Mr Bainimarama in Suva yesterday.
The money was raised in the Fiji Day celebration ball in Sydney recently. Mr Bainimarama said: “They were going to have a ball.
“So I told them do it for WOWS (Walk On Walk Strong). They organised it and this money was raised.”
Ms Lesi said: “We thank you sir for organising this fundraising. “On behalf of WOWS Kids Fiji, I thank the President of the Fiji Day organizing committee in Sydney, Alan Gock and his team for choosing to support WOWS Kids Fiji through their 13 October Fiji Day black tie dinner. “We thank the Honourable PM and Mrs Bainimarama for championing the WOWS cause to the Australian Fijian community, for making it happen. “By fundraising on our behalf you are helping WOWS Kids Fiji to continue to offer the much needed support to our little champs and their parents, and for that we cannot thank you enough. We are truly humbled by this wonderful donation.”
WOWS Kids Fiji is a charitable trust that assists children with cancer and life threatening diseases.
