RANGE OF EXHIBITORS EXPECTED HOTEC 2017

Arange of exhibitors who support the tourism industry will be at HOTEC 2017. The Fiji Hotel and Tourism Associatio­n’s (FHTA) annual industry trade show is introducin­g several new programmes to boost tourism education and showcase trade skills and new trends.

The event will be held from Thursday, November 16 to Friday, November 17 at the Denarau Island Convention Centre (DICC) in Nadi.

FHTA’s chief executive officer Fantasha Lockington advises that industry participan­ts will have an interestin­g line up of programmes to watch, interact with and learn from.

A range of exhibitors who work in the industry will be represente­d this year with the addition of several new programmes being introduced to boost tourism education and showcase trade skills and new trends – all in one place.

Among other unique opportunit­ies that will be available will also be the option to watch talented chefs display their culinary skills and include:

Marielle Hajj (Executive Chef Wakaya Island Resort) Amanda Young (APTC Master Patissier), Anthony Healy (Executive Chef Kokomo Island) showcasing his expertise in Molecular Cuisine

Cat Adora who will showcase local vegan cuisine Lance Seeto (Executive Chef Malamala Beach Club ) for Pacific Cuisine

Flavio for the ever popular display of Italian cuisine with a flair

And the winners of the Master Class Fiji female chef competitio­ns

As well, Tomohito Zuroshi the local maker and exporter of Fijiana Cacao or Adi Chocolate will take us on everyone’s favourite journey – all about how Fijian made Chocolates being exported to the world.
