A-G CALLS ON PARENTS, GUARDIANS, TEACHERS
Across Fiji, tens of thousands of our students begin their end of the year external examinations this week.
I wish the best for students in Years Six, Eight, and 13—along with those Year 10 students who complete their exams at the week’s end. Your Government, and all of Fiji, are cheering for you.
The details of this 2017 examinations for Years Six, Eight, and 13 are as follows:

Four new centres for 2017 include Wainunu Infant School in Bua, Naqaqa Seven Day Adventist Primary School in Ra, Nasauvere Infant School in Naitasiri, and Suva Special School in Suva.
Seven subjects are examined at the Year Six level.

Year 13 examinations are administered from 23 October to 2 November.
A total of 8228 students will sit in 162 centres for this exam, up from 7633 students in 2016. Queen Victoria School, which was closed for repairs in 2016, is added to this year’s list of centres. A total of 17 subjects are examined at the Year 13 level.
I ask that all parents, guardians and teachers render your full support to Fiji’s students – particularly during this examination period.
By offering students encouragement and allowing them to focus fully on their studies, we are contributing not only to their individual successes, but to the collective progress of all of Fiji.
With the combined support of parents, educators, and Government, today’s students will grow into tomorrow’s leaders. By supporting Fiji’s students, we are investing in Fiji’s future.
