“To my surprise my worry turned into comfort. I would like to thank Mr Koya for his kindness.

“Change begins from within and I would like to urge young generation to look up to this minister and learn to have humility.” Semisi Naqiso, 63 of Vunisewa settlement in Dreketi was over the moon with the timely grant. “I have been running a small canteen at home for 16 months now and I desperately needed some money to upgrade my canteen,” Mr Naqiso said.

“It was like I heard a small voice in my ear saying you have done well and consider this as a reward for your hard work, when the minister walked over to me to give me my grant.

Gratitude

“Thank you FijiFirst Government for your support and making a point of thinking about helping people like me.”
