GLOBAL WAREHOUSE BACKS CAR SHOW AGAIN
Fiji Car Club plans to host two car shows next year in the Central and Western divisions
Global Warehouse (Fiji) Limited has come onboard the second time to sponsor the Fiji Car Club show this year. The Fiji Car Club yesterday received $10,000 from the distributor of Penrite Oil, Global Warehouse (Fiji) Limited.
Last year they gave $7000 to sponsor the Penrite Car Show. The show will be on November 25 at the Suva Foreshore.
Fiji Car Club president, Raizal Haniff said: “I am very thankful to both directors for their continued support with us, coming together as our major sponsor.
“We are going to limit 60 cars in this car show compared to 45 last year. We feel that our location is big- ger for hosting this year’s car show.” In case of bad weather, the car show will be shifted to Digicel Car Park located opposite the Suva Handicraft Centre.
“We are also trying to get a judge from overseas. It is yet to be confirmed,” he said.
“We will open a pre-registration on our Facebook page, we will upload a form on our Car Club page.” There will be entertainment on the day, which will include bouncy castle, food stalls so that the children can also enjoy the day.
“We also have a category for kids where they can race with their toy cars; the best toy car will get a trophy.”
Global Warehouse director, Hamzah Hussein said: “We’ve seen a growing number of car enthusiasts around Fiji and we would like to invite all of them to come and take part in this Car Show.”
