Will the 2017-2018 IRB Sevens series be a year for the Australian 7s Rugby team? Well, judging from their performance at recent international tournaments, one cannot ignore them.

They have moulded a winning combination based on team work. Their team consists of young men who are big, powerful and fast. Meanwhile, one wonders whether our Fiji Airways 7s team and Barbarian sides have lost the plot as their performances have not been convincing.

More importantly, the Australian side has been handing us defeats recently and sometimes making us look like an ordinary 7s team. Aside from that, one looks forward to some good rugby this weekend especially with the All Blacks bringing across a powerful side laced with star players.
