OUTRIGGER BRINGS CHRISTMAS JOY TO PATIENTS, VENDORS

The Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort management and staff took it upon themselves to bring joy to patients at the Sigatoka District Hospital yesterday.
The resort workers also took a tour around town.
Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort general manager Peter Hopgood, who was Santa Claus resplendent in his white beard and red suit, gave presents to all of the children while the resort’s choir sang Christmas carols. “Christmas was a time for giving and it gave the staff at Outrigger a great deal of joy to assist those people experiencing tough times over the Christmas period,”Mr Hopgood said. Sub-divisional Medical Officer Nadroga/Navosa Dr Amos Zibran, said, “On behalf of Sigatoka Hospital staff and patients I would like to say
vinaka vakalevu to the management and staff of Outrigger for the kind gesture.
“The choir’s beautiful Christmas carols and the dashing red Santa giving out gifts definitely brought smiles to the patients faces as well as lifting the spirits of our sick children! Merry Christmas!”he said.
The resort provided “care packs” to all patients and staff at the hospital.
