Hexagon Group of Hotels is expected to open their $30 million Vitivou Commercial Complex in the coming months.

Group chairman Hafiz Khan said the aim of the project was to provide more access, in terms of recreation and integrated services to the people along the Suva-Nausori corridor. “We have a supermarket spot available and restaurants, as well as a function centre to cater for events which makes a total of 18 outlets,” he said.

Applications for tenancy are still open, he said. “The commercial complex is set for completion in four to five months with consideration to the weather in Nausori.

“The development is very important to the locality and the inclusion of the complex makes it easier for the residents to shop at ease,” he said.

While talking to the Fiji Sun, Mr Khan also mentioned about their 30 acres of freehold subdivision estate along the same area which could cater at least 150 home lots.

“Stage one will be ready for sale in a few months,” he said.

“The tenancy application is open and we have received numerous interests from people.”

In terms of parking he said plans have been approved only upon satisfactory provision of ample parking; which is as per planning guidelines. “Closeness to highway is covered by provision of a slip lane , which will allow in and out traffic with ease.”

Coinciding with this development, Mr Khan also highlighted that their million dollar investment in Yadua Bay is near completion.

He said that the five-star resort and villas will provide hundreds of jobs to the locals when it’s fully operational around mid-year.
