TappooCity Lautoka Becomes Heart and Soul of Sugar City
Before it was even officially opened TappooCity Lautoka was buzzing with life.
It has become the undoubted heart and soul of the Sugar City.
The Bainimarama Government through its policies has brought unprecedented development into the lives of the Fijian people, supported by years of economic growth.
And among that slate of development was this brand new, $30 million TappooCity Lautoka project.
The government's management of the Fijian economy hasn't only brought us growth, it has put more money back in the pockets of ordinary people Tappoo Group of Companies chairman Kanti Lal Tappoo expressed his gratitude to key partners, the Lautoka City Council and the Minister for Local Government Parveen Bala who have been very supportive of this project.
Mr Tappoo is delighted that they took the risk of developing the international standard TappooCity Lautoka project, despite the risks. And for them it's paying off.
Everyday, the complex is busy and filled with crowds of locals and tourists alike who come to enjoy the shopping, food and entertainment.
Shopping malls in so many ways have became a place where whole families spend their free time. Modern shopping malls such as TappooCity Lautoka are the answer to the needs of contemporary clients who expect a comprehensive offer in pleasant surroundings, and seamlessly combine shopping with other activities.
It is home to restaurants, stores and other outlets. As stated by the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at the opening of the complex last Saturday. This development is proof positive that our journey forward as a nation isn't only happening in Suva, or down the coast in Nadi. It is happening right here, and this project is very much part of building Lautoka into a premier city in Fiji, and the whole of the Pacific.
So a big hearty congratulation to the Tappoo family for its vision to build a beacon of light in the heart of Lautoka City.
