finished in fourth place with 2371 points.
Speaking to SUN sports yesterday, Head of Physical Education Jane Danford was pleased to have over 700 students competing in the schools Interhouse meet.
“We had approximately 700 students that participated in the Interhouse competition this year which is an increase compared to last year,” Danford said.
“Our expectation for the Coca cola games this year is to raise our standing from last year. Most of our athletes have left so that’s one challenge for us at the moment.
“After the Interhouse we will be selecting the final squad for the zone which will entirely depend on their qualifying time of the athletes,” he said. “Another challenge that we are facing at the moment is the lack of exposure and proper training programme set up for the athletes which we hope to improve on prior to the zone meet.
“Also, the unfavorable wet weather experienced over the past few days have disrupted our training programme,” Danford said.
