Nalagi Hotel, the tallest building in the western division, is nearing competion.

It is expected to open soon although no definite date has been announced.

Tourists and local business customers will soon be able to enjoy the services of Nalagi Hotel. This Saturday the Nadi business community will get a sneak peek of the nine storey hotel because it’s the venue of the Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry business forum and Chinese New Year Celebration.

The investors, Dongcheng Investment Company PTE Limited have been tight lipped on the dates of the opening.

The hotel was to have opened last year after the announcement in February 2017.

The developers said the hotel would bring positive effects to the local economy.

The hotel will have a rooftop swimming pool which the investor believes will be of unique style compared with what exists in Fiji. The hotel will have 200 rooms.

When the announcement was made, the company’s general manager Lu Wang said facilities would include two public facilities, one Chinese restaurant, gym, spa and boutique.

The hotel will also have a business centre and six meeting rooms to meet the requirements for business and meeting demands. Mr Lu had also hinted then that some shopping malls were also being planned to be constructed near the hotel.

The hotel is located on the Queen’s Highway at Martintar, Nadi next to McDonalds.

The building has been set up on a total structure area of 14K square meters.
