TOURISM FIJI CONFIRMS REGIONAL MANAGER FOR INDIA

Tourism Fiji is happy to confirm the appointment of Seema Kadam in the position of Regional Manager, India. Ms Kadam will be based in Mumbai and be responsible for Tourism Fiji’s activities across India. “It feels great to be part of an organisation like Tourism Fiji and I am very excited about the new role,” she said. “I eagerly look forward to working with the local industry trade partners.” Ms Kadam steps into her role on March 15 and brings with her an abundance of knowledge of the travel industry and products as well as great interpersonal and business development skills. Having worked and excelled at other international tourism companies such as Switzerland Tourism, where she was the Area manager, Seem is well qualified to lead the team in India for Tourism Fiji.

Tourism Fiji chief executive officer Matthew Stoeckel said: “India is a strategically important market for us and one that has significant potential for sustainable long-term growth. “This new appointment is the first of many steps we have taken to increase visitor arrivals from India and further promote Fiji within the India market.”

Visitor arrivals from India have, grown by 24 per cent over the last three years and we are very pleased to have Seema on the Tourism Fiji team. She is a great fit for the role with proven experience in driving visitor arrivals growth for other destinations.
