NEW VEHICLE BRINGS JOY TO TEACHER'S FAMILY
Lami High School teacher Elenoa Naimulua Rasoki on Friday walked away with a brand new Hyundai Tucson worth $61,000 through a Nestle promotion.
An elated Ms Rasoki, 35, said: “I never thought I would win as it was the first time for me to participate in the competition.
“When my husband called me and informed that I had won the vehicle. I thought he was playing a prank on me.
“Later on I found out that he was not joking but was serious about the win. “I could not believe that I had won such a nice vehicle for my family. “We have never had a vehicle in the family before. When we found out that we won, everyone in the family was overjoyed.
“I would like to thank God for his blessings upon my family and me and for giving us such an amazing opportunity to win this.”
She was overwhelmed when she was handed the keys of the brand new SUV. Her family lives out in Nabua, and the new vehicle will mean getting to school on time and no longer catch two buses to get to Lami High School on a daily basis. Ms Rasoki and her husband both have valid driver’s licence.
Ms Rasoki, of Dreketi, Wailevu, in Savusavu, is married with three children. Ms Rasoki said they always bought Nestle products and it was her first time to enter the competition. Nestle brand activation manager Monisha Prasad said the promotion attracted more than 20,000 entries from around the country.
As part of the competition, 20 other participants won themselves Fiji rugby jerseys.
“We are thankful for all those that participated in the promotion and we always value all our customers,’’ Ms Prasad said.
“I encourage more people to participate in all the promotions for Nestle. “We currently have an on-going promotion where one lucky winner will win $20,000 cash and 10 lucky winners will also win $1000 each.
“Nestle always looks at the engagement with all of its customers through the exciting promotions that we have.”
