Suva-based property developer, Debonair Investments Limited (Debonair) yesterday unveiled preliminary details of their development plans for the construction of a luxury condominium in central Suva’s prime residential enclave.

Situated on Berry Road, the 7-storey Na Mata Ni Cava complex will comprise 14 strata title apartments.

The complex will command a panoramic view of the Suva Peninsula, visible from its precincts above the second level.

According to a Debonair press statement, occupants will experience contemporary resort-style living with roundthe-clock access to health and fitness facilities housed on the second level, featuring a 75 square meter gym, lap pool, spa and sauna.

The Larsen Holtom and Maybin (LHM) designed condominium will shortly be available for pre-construction sale.

Debonair has reserved only 4 strata title for sale off-theplan and is offering a 10 per cent discount on listed prices to entice committed purchasers in this niche market. According to an advertisement published in the Fiji Sun yesterday, construction of the complex is expected to complete by late next year.

The ad says the building will be tsunami-safe, with preconstruction sale to commence soon.

Debonair is the brainchild of Suva-born insurance executive, Lolesh Sharma, a qualified civil engineer who lived and worked in the West London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea before re-settling in Fiji more than a decade ago. Mr Sharma credits his appreciation of contemporary architecture and the modern dynamics of dwelling in the urban “stratosphere” to “time well spent in London.” “The Na Mata Ni Civa project is our first landmark to stake our claim to be yet another Fijian-owned enterprise,” Mr Sharma said.

“The support and encouragement I’ve received from everyone is both overwhelming and gratifying.”

The statement said that Debonair had a stable of other prime sites located within easy reach of Suva city. These, it said, were ear-marked for development of its luxury branded contemporary lifestyle accommodation suites.

Mr Sharma said: “Debonair has resourced renowned professional talent and expertise in the design of its Berry Road condominium.

“We have joined hands with them to address design demands and needs which cater for discerning tastes and choices.

“We have raised the benchmark.”
