Ro Teimumu and elections

She is on record for her outburst after the 2014 General Election.

Ro Teimumu Kepa was taken by surprise as soon as the Fijian Elections Office announced the overwhelming majority win of 33 seats for the FijiFirst Party and termed it a win for a Military government chosen by those right-thinking Fijians but not her SODELPA party.

It was unacceptable to her and at the same time disrespectful to the majority desire of the chiefs and people of our nation. But she is now seated very comfortably and has settled in soon after she was chosen as Leader of Opposition with her new $120K plus perks which sets her apart from what her backbencher members are paid $50K annually.

I personally believe and feel she has gotten accustomed to the exposure and fame that comes with it although the Opposition has performed below par under her leadership for the past four years with her NFP colleagues.

She has conveniently teamed up with her nemesis Sitiveni Rabuka at the SODELPA house to materialise on their collective dreams to unseat the people’s popular FijiFirst Government and its leadership. On record she has always publicly been a great advocate of not getting involved with a coup maker in her political career but now?

Or is it a marriage of convenience? The above is detrimental on their wish to win this 2018 General Election. Military Government, Civilian Government or a Democratic Government however they want to call it, I personally believe that the collective efforts of NFP, FLP and SODELPA is already in vain and will not change nor deter the way we the majority of eligible Fijian Voters will again register our desire to maintain consistency and publicly show our loyalty, support and appreciation to the Voreqe Bainimarama leadership and our FijiFirst Party.

The writing is already on the wall for these Opposition parties although they still reject it.

We have the Fiji Times Tebutt Polls and the Fiji Sun Razor public opinion polls. They both show equal similarity to whom and which party the majority of Fijians want in the lead up to our national election and that is the verdict.

They are both registered genuine confirmations.

Mark my word please, I am convinced these Opposition parties would label our election undemocratic after the announcement of the results not being in their favour.
