Nemani Delaibatiki should be honourable when writing the article “Democracy at any cost or good governance” (FS 12/5), not protecting his own interest.

It is clear as glass that no consultation was done and that has stripped iTaukei rights in the name of good governance. We don't mind the inclusion of everyone as individual rights under one law, but not at a heavy price.

Once paramountcy of iTaukei rights were dealt with by the closed GCC and FHL, but not anymore. Customary laws are now restricted because they do not recognise individual rights and liberties.
