The best disciplined team will win the second round of the Pacific Nations Cup between Georgia and the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians at the ANZ Stadium in Suva today.

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians head coach John McKee made the comment during the Captain’s Run at Albert Park in Suva yesterday.

McKee said it’s important the players focused on the game for 80 minutes.

Last week against Samoa which they won 24-22, captain Akapusi Qera, Jale Vatubua and Eroni Mawi were yellow carded.

“Yellow cards affect performance so we need to play clean, hard rugby.

ROOKIE HOOKER

McKee believes starting Veremalua Vugakoto, 20, at No. 2 n the line-up will be opportunity for him to prove himself for next year.

“He is an exciting young player and it will be a big challenge for him but he will relish in the opportunity to start in a test match,” McKee said.

“He is among the crop of young players that are coming through and will be a force to reckon with in future.”

INJURED PROP

Meanwhile, prop Peni Ravai is injured but has been training with the squad. “Ravai came from Europe with niggling injuries but he is in camp and has been training. He might be in the squad next week.”

The game today kicks off at 3.30pm.
