SODELPA MP BACKS WIFE

Aseri Radrodro: Her quiet resolve and her amazing faith in God makes me a believer in women of substance

- NEMANI DELAIBATIKI

SODELPA member of Parliament Aseri Radrodro has strongly defended his wife, Sainiana, against a move to expel her from the party. The expulsion motion was brought up but then dropped at the SODELPA annual general meeting at Namoli Village in Lautoka last Saturday. It was based on her social media postings.

Mr Radrodro said: “The hardship she has had to endure being my wife and especially in the work I do made me so sad and hurt to see her torn apart by the party she worked so hard for.

“In fact four years ago when I was campaigning, she worked similarly hard campaigning for other candidates because of their role. “Her hours were long and sometimes I personally would be worried she would be sick through all that she endured.”

Mr Radrodro said on the drive

back from Lautoka to Suva after the AGM, she looked “the most tired I have seen her after a long time”.

He said since 2013 when the hard journey started in the campaign for SODELPA “and well before I decided to stand for the party, my wife was well involved in the party”. “Her quiet resolve though and her amazing faith in God makes me a believer in women of substance,” Mr Radrodro said. “Thank you dear wife, Sainiana, for your contribution to my life and to SODELPA that only I and the Almighty God know.”
