In­side Out Ready for a Blast

For this year’s Thurston Food and Mu­sic Fes­ti­val, the Suva-based band is all geared up to per­form once more to en­ter­tain the pub­lic with their cov­ers of 1970s hits in style.

Suva-based band In­side Out has called on its fans to ex­pect a blast when they take on the stage to­day at the Thurston Food and Mu­sic Fes­ti­val.

The band con­sists of five tal­ented in­di­vid­u­als. Lead singer and gui­tarist Apakuki Nalawa, bassist Ti­mothy Solomon, lead gui­tarist and back­ing vo­cal­ist Semesa Vilise, drum­mer and back­ing vo­cal­ist Ratu Vil­iame Dautei and Bola Va­suk­ibau, the back­ing vo­cal­ists and key­board player.

“It’s some­thing dif­fer­ent were you can bring your whole fam­ily down to en­joy awe­some food and mu­sic, espe­cially the kids,” said Mr Solomon.

He said that were very ex­cited to per­form in front of a live au­di­ence. “We are in for a blast,” Mr Solomon said.

The band re­lies heav­ily on spread­ing pos­i­tive mes­sage across to their fans as well. #sayio is a term of­ten used in their posts on so­cial me­dia such as Face­book, In­sta­gram and on their of­fi­cial web­site.

#sayio means to say­ing yes to the chal­lenges that life brings on.

Since 2014, In­side Out has been en­ter­tain­ing the pub­lic with great live per­for­mance and orig­i­nal mu­sic.

For this year’s Thurston Food and Mu­sic Fes­ti­val, In­side Out is all geared up to per­form once more to en­ter­tain the pub­lic with their cov­ers of 1970s hits in style.

Tick­ets will are on sale at $25 for adults, while en­try will be free for chil­dren un­der the age of 14.

The tick­ets can be bought at the FBC of­fice, the ROC Café and Gin­ger Kitchen at the Fiji Mu­seum.

Ad­mis­sion is free for chil­dren un­der the age of 14. The Thurston Food and Mu­sic Fes­ti­val will be held to­day at the Thurston Gar­dens in Suva from 10am to 11pm.
