Inside Out Ready for a Blast

For this year’s Thurston Food and Music Festival, the Suva-based band is all geared up to perform once more to entertain the public with their covers of 1970s hits in style.

Suva-based band Inside Out has called on its fans to expect a blast when they take on the stage today at the Thurston Food and Music Festival.

The band consists of five talented individual­s. Lead singer and guitarist Apakuki Nalawa, bassist Timothy Solomon, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Semesa Vilise, drummer and backing vocalist Ratu Viliame Dautei and Bola Vasukibau, the backing vocalists and keyboard player.

“It’s something different were you can bring your whole family down to enjoy awesome food and music, especially the kids,” said Mr Solomon.

He said that were very excited to perform in front of a live audience. “We are in for a blast,” Mr Solomon said.

The band relies heavily on spreading positive message across to their fans as well. #sayio is a term often used in their posts on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and on their official website.

#sayio means to saying yes to the challenges that life brings on.

Since 2014, Inside Out has been entertaini­ng the public with great live performanc­e and original music.

For this year’s Thurston Food and Music Festival, Inside Out is all geared up to perform once more to entertain the public with their covers of 1970s hits in style.

Tickets will are on sale at $25 for adults, while entry will be free for children under the age of 14.

The tickets can be bought at the FBC office, the ROC Café and Ginger Kitchen at the Fiji Museum.

Admission is free for children under the age of 14. The Thurston Food and Music Festival will be held today at the Thurston Gardens in Suva from 10am to 11pm.
