“Students should be able to balance their family, study time and the time they spend with technologi­cal gadgets.”

Maciu Seru, teacher and editor of the movie, said the film helped many students identify their own talents. He said a blend of pure seriousnes­s with touches of humour were vital to establish the plot of the movie. “We are trying to raise awareness in the addiction that has been brought up by technology,” Mr Seru said. He said it was very easy for a student to get a phone and have access to the internet.

“Students really get carried away by this,” Mr Seru said. Meanwhile, Ratu Rakuita hopes that their film shares that appealing message to all students and parents. Edited by Epineri Vula
