WALESI FREE WIFI HOTSPOT LAUNCHES TODAY
Taking place at Suva’s Ratu Sukuna Park at 10am
All Fijians are welcome to attend the launch event, which will include entertainment for the whole family.
Acting Prime Minister and Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will launch the first Walesi Free WiFi hotspot location today.
The launch will be held at Suva’s Ratu Sukuna Park at 10am.
The free WiFi hotspot initiative was announced in the 2018-2019 National Budget.
This first hotspot location is only part of what will become a nationwide network of free WiFi hotspots throughout Fiji under the digitalFiji Initiative.
All Fijians are welcome to attend the launch event, which will include entertainment for the whole family.
The entertainment includes performances from the band The Gang and the Vou Dance Group, children’s activities and special prize giveaways.
