Sanitarium Breakfast Visit To Masimasi, Nadi

Students of Masimasi Primary School in Nadi have been encouraged to serve God and live a healthy life. The 115 students were treated to a healthy breakfast suprise led by Sanitarium Australia and New Zealand Executive General Manager, Todd Saunders. yesterday.

Mr Saunders reminded the students to strive to become the best of themselves in school.

Mr Saunders led a team of 113 staff members from Sanitarium Australia who were carrying out renovation­s at the school over the past few days.

“We believe that you need to be the best version of what you can be so that you can be become something great in the future, the school plays an important role in this.

“You can start by doing the right things, serve God, study hard in school and live a healthy life,” Mr Saunders said.

He said the school had been assisted by the Adventist Developmen­t and Relief Agency (ADRA).

A set of sports equipment was also donated to the school.

“We have come here to paint the school, build gardens and fences, reading to the children and playing with them, it’s a way for us to build a bond with them,” Mr Saunders said.

He added their work was made possible through their trusted partner in Fiji, CJ Patel. “We want to work on this school to make it brighter for students so that they can enjoy studying and we want to thank our distributo­r in Fiji for coming on board to assist us,” he added.

School Head Teacher, Ronald Krishna said they were blessed to have the Sanitarium staff visit their school.

“There was a need to change the colour of the school,” Mr Krishna said.

“I had a dream to change the school and Sanitarium has come in at the right time. “I would like to thank CJ Patel for being the bridge of communicat­ion for us,” he added.
