- SWASHNA CHAND HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Feedback: com.fj swashna.chand@fijisun.

Thirty-three-year-old Merewalesi Williams thought she was pranked by her friends when she received a call to inform her that she had won a Samsung S9 mobile phone.

But, after an official assurance that she was the winner of the Nestle promotion, Ms Williams of Delainavesi thanked the company for having such promotions. Yesterday she was handed her prize at the Nestle office in Wailekutu, Lami.

This is her second win after participating in past promotions by Nestle.

Ms Williams took part in promotion by purchasing a few Nestle products at a participating supermarket.

“I was so shocked to hear that I had won something valuable like a Samsung S9 mobile phone,” she said.

Ms Williams, a finance associate at International Union for the Conservation of the Nature, is married with two children.

“I always like to participate in promotions like this because you never know you can get lucky, like I am right now,” Ms William said.

Nestle sales operations manager Sanjeet Singh said they always have promotions from time to time giving consumers the opportunity to win good prizes, through their brand.

“By offering these prizes we have given something back to the community after they purchase any Nestle product,” he said. Mr Singh encouraged consumers to participate in this promotion because there are eight more Samsung S9 to give away. Edited by Caroline Ratucadra
