The Gau Under-12 captain Bici Lewanavanua will run on at the ANZ Stadium tomorrow with the hope not to disappoint their fans who have come all the way from the island to support them.

The Sawaieke, Gau lad who has been leading his brigade right from the U9 grade believes they have done all their preparations. “We’ve prepared physically well and since we will be competing for our third time we will try our best to return home with some good news,” Lewanavanua said.

“We believe in ourselves and our aim is for us not to disappoint our fans.”

Lewanavanua also told SUNsports that he aims to work hard and one day don the national jumper.

“I want to follow the footsteps of Waisale Serevi who is also from Gau. That is always my aim to be like Serevi and wear the Fiji jersey.”

Gau team manager Shonal Samy said; “We have our supporters coming in the MV Lomaiviti Princess tonight (last night). “Our boys are excited and looking forward to Monday.”
