The Kadavu Kaji rugby team are confident of taking home the Vodafone Kaji Rugby U14 silverware.

The boys in black were runners up in the last year’s U14 grade as they went down 10-9 to Suva. Kadavu U14 captain Josese Duavoivoi told SUNsports yesterday that they are here on a mission following their warm-up matches against Koro and Ovalau on Friday where they won 8-0 and 7-0 respectively.

UNITY NEVER FAILS

“After the final last year we went back disappointed but this year the main message in camp is to work together, strengthen our game and God will guide our path,” Duavoivoi said.

“We know it will not be an easy task, all teams will come prepared and will want to win the title but we believe in ourselves.

“We know we can do it by taking the cup to Kadavu.”

The Drue, Kadavu lad is overwhelmed with the support they have been receiving.

“We want to thank our parents and the people of Kadavu in Suva for coming out and supporting us.”

Kadavu are also represented in the U12 and U13 grades.
