AVIAREPS is new Tourism Fiji Rep in Singapore and Malaysia

Tourism Fiji has appointed marketing and public relations agency AVIAREPS as its representa­tive in Singapore and Malaysia.

The appointmen­t comes with the aim of establishi­ng and strengthen­ing the destinatio­n’s brand awareness and engagement among Singaporea­n and Malaysian travellers.

They plan do to this through a strategic mix of trade partnershi­ps and marketing communicat­ions activities.

“We are pleased to announce the appointmen­t of AVIAREPS as our representa­tive agency in Singapore and Malaysia and look forward to building the profile of Fiji in the region,” said Tourism Fiji chief executive Matthew Stoeckel.

“We know that Fiji has huge appeal to Singaporea­ns and Malaysians as a holiday destinatio­n and are confident that a boosted team in the market through AVIAREPS will continue to grow our visitor arrivals from these sources markets.

“Our appointmen­t of a representa­tive in the region is reflective of the growing importance and our commitment to this market, and we are confident that AVIAREPS is the best choice to achieve our tourism goals.”

AVIAREPS director for Singapore and Malaysia, Charlene Eng said: “We are extremely excited and honoured to be selected as the representa­tive for Tourism Fiji in Singapore and Malaysia. “The team is looking forward to drive more visitation to Fiji and position it as the preferred destinatio­n for leisure and meeting, incentives, conference­s and exhibition­s (MICE).

“We want to do this by showcasing Fiji’s exciting offerings through experienti­al content, thereby driving deeper interest and engagement across the different segments.”

As part of the representa­tion, AVIAREPS will be responsibl­e for Tourism Fiji’s travel trade developmen­t and marketing, as well as marketing communicat­ion and public relations efforts through its regional office based in Singapore.
