It was an enriching day for Satish Kumar as he took advantage of the retirement expo organised by the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) at TappooCity Lautoka complex yesterday.

Mr Kumar, who resides in Lautoka, said that he used the opportunity to enquire about loans.

“I’m currently on loan with another bank and am actively looking for opportunities to be re-financed,” he said.

He said that waiting in the banks tends to become quite lengthy.

However, for him, it was more convenient when services were provided more flexibly.

“I was able to save on a lot of time today because of this expo,” Mr Kumar said. Mr Kumar said that the staff present had been really helpful to him in providing the required information that he had been searching for.

“I was able to get all the correct information at the expo,” he said.

“I’m very happy that I visited this expo as it will help me explore more ways of investing my funds.”

Loans

Meanwhile, Senitiqi Rawaqa was also content after visiting the expo.

Mr Rawaqa said that he had also come to enquire about a loan.

“This has saved a lot of time for me,” he said.

“It gets difficult to find time during work but I’m happy that I could make it here today.” Mohammed Zainul, staff representative at Ministry of Lands, said that the turnout had been big.

“A lot of people are coming to take advantage of this expo,” Mr Zainul said.
