Arjun Kapoor was shooting for his turn as an Intelligence officer in Raj Kumar Gupta’s ‘India’s Most Wanted’ in Nepal, when he was informed that his sister Anshula had been hospitalised following a migraine attack.

The actor rushed back to Mumbai to be by her side, promising his director that he would do double shifts upon his return too, so that the film remains on track. Anshula recently returned home from the hospital and her 33-yearold actor-brother, who was by her side till now, is set to return to work next week.

“The production team stepped up to help Arjun when he approached Raj Kumar sir for a break from the shooting. Arjun made sure to wrap up the Nepal schedule a day early and flew back to Mumbai quietly. He has been with Anshula ever since,” informed a source close to the actor, adding that the sibling duo’s father Boney Kapoor and family friends also rallied behind Anshula during the time. Next week, Arjun resumes work in Patna, where another schedule of the film will kick off.

He also has to start promoting Vipul Shah’s ‘Namaste England’ with Parineeti Chopra soon and will have to kick work into overdrive again to be present for promotions as well as spend time with his sister.

“Anshula is recuperating well, but Arjun wants to be around till she is feeling absolutely fine,” added the source. When Mirror contacted Arjun, he said, “Anshula is better now and just needs some more rest.

She tried her best to convince me that she was okay so that I could finish work but honestly, I’d rather see her recover in person.”

Next up, the actor will start work on Ashutosh Gowariker’s perioddrama ‘Panipat’ with Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon.
