“We had a good start last Friday by holding Salove 1-1 and beating Nabekavu 2-0,” Prasad said.

“Although I joined the team this year as coach we are confident of making it to the final on Sunday. “We have one district rep from Dreketi, Sohal Khan and one overseas player Zoheb Khan.

“With the morale support from families, friends and sponsors we are going to take it one game at a time. “We don’t underestimate any team but instead look up to them with great respect. We have a good team of dedicated players playing in either the premier or super premier divisions.” Vanua Levu Muslim Sports Association president Aiyub Khan said there are 12 teams in the super premier division and have been divided into two pools. The teams are Batinikama, Wailevu, Savusavu, Nabekavu, Solove, Tabia, Nasea, Vunimoli, Nasea, Seaqaqa, Soasoa and Korowiri.
