Alarge crowd turned up at Denarau Island last weekend to witness the 2018 Denarau Food and Music Festival, which was sponsored by Heineken. The festival was organised by Knox Entertainment in partnership with Gold FM last Saturday.

Knox Entertainment co-director Ellana Kalounisiga thanked Heineken for their support and their belief in the festival.

“This was the second year for this wonderful event and it drew a much bigger crowd than last year,” Ms Kalounisiga said.

The event included the sale of a wide range of food at local prices.

The food was prepared by the renowned chefs from Sheraton Fiji Resort and Spa, Westin, Radisson Blu and Hilton. Prime focus was on the Heineken Beer Bar managed by Sheraton, which drew quite a crowd at all times during the festival.

A good line up of well-known local musicians were accompanied by Jay Hoad from Australia who featured a chilled acoustic session.

This was followed by local musicians Knox, Inside Out, Nem & Talei, Resonate, Four Quarters, Acid Tone, DJ Christonite and the JB Brotherhood.

“We are incredibly thankful to Heineken for being onboard this year as our major sponsors for this beautiful event,” Ms Kalounisiga said.

“We also wish to thank the Sheraton and Westin Team for their support”

The ever amazing VOU group performed throughout the day.
