BSP Life FHRI Event Starts Tomorrow
The BSP Life 2018 Fiji Human Resources Institute (FHRI) two days annual convention kicks off tomorrow on a high note.
Kameli Batiweti, president of FHRI said the annual convention was the continuation of previous successful events which were held annually over the years.
The convention will be held at the Sheraton Fiji Resort.
“I am proud that the Convention has become a prominent Human Resources event in Fiji, where Government agencies, company directors, chief executive officers, policy makers, key stakeholders, academicians, and experts in Human Resources gather to share the latest development and innovation in the industry.
“This year, we selected the theme “HR in the Digital Age: Is HR ready to drive people and workforce innovation in the digital age?”
“This convention is a great opportunity to exchange breakthrough ideas and best practices among HR (human resource) professionals to overcome the challenges and barrier, now and into the future.
“We look forward to the broad scope of contributions by our speakers from their areas of expertise and the opportunities to engage with them in their respective fields.
Mr Batiweti acknowledged the overwhelming number of registrations received.
“I also take this time on behalf of the FHRI EXCOMM and the members to extend our sincere appreciation to our sponsors; renewed partnership with BSP Life for the next three years; Oracle Australia, USP Pacific TAFE, Vodafone, Asco Motors, Vinod Patel, TOTAL, Paradise Beverages and Coca–Cola. “Without your support, we would not have been able to make a difference by hosting yet another successful Convention and we therefore look forward to your continued support.
“Let us share and discuss to continuously contribute to the progress and development of Fiji’s HR industry specifically, and also for the advancement of our country.
“Let’s make it a valuable event and experience for all of us!”
