2018 FETA AWARDS ANNOUNCES EXTENSION FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards (FETA) has extended the deadline for submission of entries to Thursday November 15, due to the overwhelming response that was received during the call for entries. The ANZ FETA Organising Committee and the Board of Trustees have decided to allow more time for industry operators to complete their submissions.

“The call for entries period was launched on September 10th and the deadline for submission of entries which was Friday October 26th has been extended now to Thursday, November 15,” organising committee chairperson Olivia Mavoa said.

“This is to allow our industry partners more time to submit their entries.

“We had received huge interest during the call for entries period and have taken on board the industry’s request for an extension.

“The extension is by almost three weeks and we would like to encourage other industry operators to submit their entries.

“We have categories like the Specialised Tourism Services and Support to the Industry and Culinary Services which non resort and tour operators can apply for.”

The 2018 ANZ FETA gala dinner event will be held at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on February 16, 2019. Tourism Operators are encouraged to submit their entries online on FETA website www.feta.com.fj before the closing date. Queries can be forwarded to info@feta.com.fj

The 2018 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards will commemorate its 22nd season in the Fijian tourism industry, culminating at the Awards Gala Dinner in February 2019.
