Nasau Resort and Villas Bring In A New Concept
Nasau Resort and Villas has provided our visitors and locals with a new concept of holidaying – quiet surroundings that will give you all the relaxation you need.
Nestled in the hills of Nasau, just off the Queen’s Highway on the Nadi Back Road, this new resort has one of the more picturesque settings of any holiday destination.
Boasting unique architectural grandeur and exquisite garden features, Nasau Resort & Villas is the ideal venue for a rejuvenating retreat while indulging in the marvellous Fijian landscape.
The resort is owned by Gynrade, a group of four local businesses that invested $14 million into the project.
The previous owners of the hotel, then known as SSS Manhao Hotel sold the property to Gynrade.
Resort general manager Novitesh Chand, with 12 years of experience as general manager of Peninsula International Hotel Suva, said the place was refurbished virtually from scratch to what it is today.
“This is the place to be if you really want to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside of Nasau.”
The resort boasts 51 uniquely designed guestrooms, a choice of 11 villas from one to four bedrooms.
All are equipped with modern facilities and comforts, together with considerate personalised service, individually controlled air-conditioning systems, in-room safe, mini bar fridge, private balcony, IDD telephone and internet plus other amenities. The resort also has modern architecturally designed one to four bedroom villas which provide a sense of style and space, “a home away from home”.
The rooms at the resort are:
6 Standard King Rooms
15 Deluxe King Rooms
30 Deluxe Queen Rooms
4 one bedroom villas
2 two bedroom villas
2 three bedroom villas
3 four bedroom villas
The Hill View Restaurant and Bar offers a wide range of all-day-dining options. A creative menu fused with a Pacific Island influence using the best local and imported products, at very reasonable prices. Mr Chand said the resort is working on introducing a nanny service so that couples may have more time to relax and also a children’s club.
“We are planning all this and will be introduced late.
The resort opened more than a week ago and boasts room rates, as low as $110 per night.
