Madrid: Real Madrid midfielder Isco has dismissed speculation of him leaving the club in January, claiming he is “very happy” at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 26-year-old has found himself out of favour since Santiago Solari took charge of the club in October, following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui.

The Spain international is yet to start a La Liga game under Solari, being limited to appearances in Copa Del Rey and Champions League fixtures instead, and there have reports of a bust-up between the pair.

Isco has been linked with a move to Juventus and Chelsea in the January transfer window but according to reports in Spain, the playmaker has denied he is looking for a way out.

“I am not remotely thinking about leaving Real Madrid in the January transfer window, as I am very happy here,” Isco told Deportes Cuatro. “My objective is to continue winning many more titles with Real Madrid.” Isco, who has made over 250 appearances for the club since arriving from Malaga in 2013, played only 22 minutes as Real Madrid beat Kashima Antlers 3-1 to win the Club World Cup.

It is thought that Juventus were interested in reuniting the Spaniard with former Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, who has excelled since his high-profile switch in the summer.

-Evening Standard The club released a statement on Sunday saying that despite twice making contact with PSG over Rabiot in August and December, they have not reached an agreement with the club or the player.

“In relation to news which has appeared in France, FC Barcelona manifest that the club has not broken any rules in reference to signing players from PSG,” the statement said. “The only contact took place in August and again one week ago.

“On both occasions the contact was with PSG to express the club’s interest in the player Adrien Rabiot.

“FC Barcelona have always wanted to operate with maximum transparency with PSG and all other clubs. FC Barcelona deny the existence of any type of agreement with PSG player Adrien Rabiot.”

Rabiot’s agent has previously said the midfielder will definitely leave PSG, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season and no agreement reached at Parc des Princes over a new deal.
